Samantha Berg M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist

Prior to receiving my Master's of Acupuncture degree from Maryland University of Integrative Health, I earned my Bachelor's degreeSamantha Berg in Animal Science at Cornell University. I am trained in Five Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese style acupuncture. As an acupuncture client since 1994, the simple power of this ancient medicine has consistently inspired me to reach for all the possibilities that life has to offer. Whether you struggle with physical pain, emotional challenges or just a general feeling of unease with your current life situation, I will work with you to design an effective course of treatment.

Everyone's healing journey is unique, and I feel privileged to work with my patients as they discover how to be healthier, happier and more joyful in life. My favorite quote about Chinese Medicine is from one of my teachers, Thea Elijah. She says, "I've had people come into my practice for knee pain and end up getting married." While I can't promise wedding bells, I invite you to come in and discover what acupuncture can offer to you.

Kevin Meddleton, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Licensed and Nationally Board certified Acupuncturist

I chose to become an acupuncturist because of the holistic healing principles of Chinese Medicine and Kevin Meddleton because of the startling results it can provide for a wide range of chronic health issues arising from physical illness, injury or mental and emotional stress. After my wife, Samantha, and I both experienced the benefits of acupuncture as patients, we committed ourselves to offering this powerful medicine to others. In every treatment, we are reminded of how privileged we are to contribute to the emerging field of Chinese Medicine in the United States.

What is most exciting to me about Acupuncture is the consistent reports from patients who say they thrive in ways they never imagined-well after their symptoms of illness have resolved. As a result, many continue to receive acupuncture treatment to stay healthy and explore their greatest potential in health. And that is what holistic medicine is all about.

I have a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and I am a nationally board certified licensed acupuncturist. I am trained in Five Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese style acupuncture. My undergraduate degree at Cornell University provides me with a strong background in the biological sciences. Samantha and I studied acupuncture together at Maryland University of Integrative Health, the first accredited program for the study of acupuncture in the United States. The Institute has now grown into a national center for graduate education in complementary medicine. We have nearly 4000 hours of training in Chinese Medicine and we add to that every year through a rigorous schedule of continuing education.
